Here we are in December, facing the culmination of our nine year cycle. Here we lay the groundwork to reset our personal framework, an invitation to the next iteration of us.
There’s something epic to that energy.
Are we ready?
Numerology teaches us that each universal year is associated with a number one through nine. Because zeros aren’t counted, at ten we drop the zero and reset back to one.
I won’t harp on numerology details because if you’re a reader of this blog you’re the choir and I’m now preaching. So let’s consider again:
As we move into the second week of December at the end of the year of nine preparing to close a near decades long cycle, I ask again-Are we ready?
Ready to release the trappings of the last decade and fix our eyes on the path ahead. As we move one step at a time toward our North, we have the opportunity to both choose that North we’re heading toward, and release that which binds us to whatever anchors us to now.
And it’s choice friends, that frees us to be clear on what comes next.
It’s with that choice that we get to decide what our next evolution looks like.
The sooner we choose, the sooner we get to let go of the old patterns that keep us from stepping fully into our future self.
Each tiny step right now is a step that makes up the future us.
Visualize yourself as a puzzle. If the picture is already complete, there’s no room for anything new. In order to let new ways in, we have to consciously let old ways go. That is to remove outdated pieces, ethically release them, find new pieces that we see for ourselves and fit them into the evolving shape of our puzzle.
Because the next nine years are just that. The integration of new pieces.
Right now, we are in the crucial final phase of removing outdated pieces. In the incoming Year of One, we look at the empty spaces from removed pieces and begin to rework our puzzle with new pieces.
I wonder, can you see where they go?
Because the best news? We are the only ones who determine what the next nine years looks like.
We are the only ones who can see our North Star.
So we’re reminded that we have to take the time to look in order to truly see, friends.
Right now we’re in the looking portion of our program.
We offer ourselves the time for a gentle reordering of the self and when we’re left with pieces that no longer fit, we offer them back to the universe like the tree offers oxygen from carbon dioxide.
Here both we and our pieces are transformed.
So may we go with gratitude, look from love, and remind ourselves that even as we make room for what’s incoming, that too is a part of a cycle that will eventually run the risk of one day being let go. But it’s the fit right now, the empty space that we’re making for what’s new, that matters.
Even as we remember it’s not an end but another step on our path right now.

Give yourself permission to enjoy, maybe even love, the right now and look with excitement toward the new evolution of you.
The world needs us to shine our light.
